Color Palette Selector

Challenge
Design a color palette selector that displays recently used, organization, and recommends color palettes for specific data visualization.

Approach
After conducting user interviews and product walkthroughs, I compiled the feedback and redesigned the color palette selector. Users wanted the ability to see the organization and recently used color palettes. After hearing this feedback, I also looked into color palettes that are appropriate for data visualization in different scenarios. I added these palettes to the selector.  Additionally, an always expanded option and collapsible option were added based on user feedback and needs.

Insights
Users want the ability to quickly select recently used, organization, or recommended color palettes when creating charts. Recommended palettes for specific data visualizations help to make users more successful in presenting their data correctly.
