Challenge
Redesign the front page of the company’s website to provide better messaging, increase conversion rates, and a more pleasing design.
Approach
After researching best practices for landing page conversion and the designs of industry leaders, I designed several high-fidelity wireframes and presented them to the marketing department.
Insights
Information architecture and the position of screen elements are very important when designing a landing page to have good conversion rates. CTAs and most importantly messaging need to be “above the fold” for all device types to help increase conversion. Additionally, it is important to establish a look and feel with the client or project sponsor at the beginning of the project to help increase efficiency throughout the project.
